The Vision
Grace came to me with a Pinterest board & a prayer.
She & her fiancé Levi had booked their wedding reception at a beautiful country venue. The catch (if you can call it that)? This place was HUGE! It needed décor galore.
She had come to the right person.
Here's a taste of their inspiration.
The Process
Grace knew she wanted 3 black & white photos from their engagement leading up the walkway to the venue. I created custom gold frames, printed the gorgeous photos in large format, and added giant tulle bows that flowed beautifully in the light breeze.
The bar area of the venue was very sparse, so we decided on a HUGE bar banner with hand-painted signature drinks drawings along with a vinyl printed menu of all drinks offerings. I decided to use upholstery fabric for a lightweight and easily transportable banner, with channels stitched in the edges to easily slot into a custom-built wooden frame.
Another bar sign, and the welcome sign, were so fun to create with bespoke vinyl decals on poster board & custom gold frames. hung with elegant ivory ribbon.
After exercising my graphic design muscles to create the ceremony programs, I LOVED Grace’s idea of a double-sided food menu & drink-saver coaster. We even had room to add a QR code for guests to share their photos!
The final thing was the seating chart. I machine-cut over 15ft of vinyl decals, which I then transferred to a large mirror that Grace had already purchased. I am absolutely IN LOVE with the finished results!
